Add New User
Adding New User
This section can only be done by an admin. In Users
desk, click on User
to get to users list.
Click on + Add User
button at top left.
New User
dialog like below will pop up. You can fill in some of the information right here, or you can click Edit Full Form
to go to more detailed page to edit more information. It is recommended to click Edit Full Form
here.
Required Information
In User Details
tab, we must fill in the user's Email
and First Name
. Also make sure to set Time Zone
to Asia/Kuala Lumpur, and untick Send Welcome Email
.
Click Save
. You might see a pop up saying no role specified for this user. It's fine, close the dialog by pressing X
button.
In Roles & Permissions
tab, click on Role Profile
field and select the correct role profile for this newly added user. Refer to User Roles section to see which role profile is suitable for the user.
After a role profile is selected, the right roles will automatically be ticked below it. No need to make any change here.
Click Save
. Now at the bottom of the same page, there will be section to allow modules. At Module Profile
field, select ESM.
Click Save
. Finally, we want to set a password for the user. Go to Settings
tab, expand Change Password
, and fill in the new password at Set New Password
field.
Click Save
. You're done adding a new user!
